Clergy Services To Meet Your Needs and Fit Your Lifestyle!

Our Celebrants

Our staff are all ordained clergy who have received extensive training and have extensive experience in all types of ceremonies.  In addition to the training they receive as a part of their ordination, our Spiritual Director meets with our celebrants on a regular basis to provide continuing education and other training experiences.

Our celebrants never commit to more than one ceremony per day to ensure that they are fully available to you on the day of your event.  We also have coordinators on staff who are available to assist with wedding rehearsals when necessary.  All of our staff are happy to answer any questions you may have at any time!

Our Spiritual Tradition

Very often, couples or their families are concerned about the spiritual tradition or background of their celebrant.  Our celebrants are clergy of The Universal Anglican Church (www.U-A-C.org).  You might say that we are distant cousins of the Church of England or the Episcopal Church.  We are a progressive denomination that allows its clergy a great deal of independence in how they structure their individual ministries.  Most of our clergy are bi-vocational, which is to say that they work a "day job" to support their ministries and their families.  This allows us to have small, family sized churches without worrying about paying a pastor.

Consistent with our tradition, our clergy are called Deacons, Priests, and Bishops.  We also answer to names such as pastor, reverend, rev, father, and hey you!   Most of us have a varied educational background that covers a few Christian traditions, and our closest ministry partners are United Church of Christ, so we are comfortable working with people from just about any spiritual background - including no background at all!  Our clergy are married, partnered, and single.  We do not have a celibacy requirement.

The most fundamental principal of the Universal Anglican Church is that of radical inclusivity.  Know that you are welcome here, and we will do everything in our power to make sure you are comfortable!

Our Philosophy

At BishopCraig.com, our mission is to meet you where you are in your life journey and support you with clergy services that are sensitive and reflect God’s love of you and those who are important to you.

BishopCraig.com offers you non-judgmental support and pastoral services in planning and celebrating your wedding. We believe in celebrating and supporting the unique individual that each person was created to be. We recognize that people are individuals who have different needs and desires. Whether your wedding will be indoors or outside, traditional or contemporary we will work with you to design your special day to be every bit as wonderful and unique as the love that you share.

We will gladly work together with everyone involved in your celebration – photographers, videographers, musicians, soloists, florists, and others – to make sure everything fits together into a cohesive, seamless ceremony.  Our clergy staff has experience working with people of many different faith backgrounds and levels of involvement. We also recognize that the wedding day can be a source of stress and we are experienced at keeping wedding parties relaxed.

As your life together continues, BishopCraig.com is also available for other spiritual celebrations such as renewal of vows ceremonies, anniversary celebrations, baptisms, funerals and memorial services. Other services provided by BishopCraig.com include pastoral care, hospital visitations, and spiritual direction. All of our services are non-judgmental and sensitive to your background and life situation.

We look forward to working with you!
